AJ Bell cash withdrawal question

Currently overseas using an e-SIM and wanted to withdraw some cash from my dealing account.

Does anyone know if AJ Bell has a limit whereby they must call to verify a withdrawal request and if so what that limit is?

I'm quite a few hours ahead of the UK and may be sleeping when they try to call and so it may be easier to do 2-3 smaller withdrawals over a few days if they can be processed automatically that way.

Making repeated withdrawal requests for smaller amounts might be less likely to trigger a call back for the first one, but is potentially more likely to do so for subsequent ones (circumventing security checks for large withdrawals is an obvious red flag). I would also imagine that requesting a withdrawal from an IP address that isn't in the UK is more likely to raise a potential query if they check for such things.

Why not ask AJB directly? If they require additional security checks then they can be made in advance of the request. As a minimum, you could agree a mutually convenient time for them to speak to you.

I have withdrawn £50K from an AJBell ISA to the associated bank account without any hassles.

Thanks all - I only have £10k sitting in my dealing account and so will try to withdraw in one go in light of the above responses. If it gets stuck then I will give them a call tonight.
