"there wasn't any windscreen PCN, guess it was ANPR, but still the timing of the NtK is wrong and should be in my favour, right?"

No you are wrong. Drop that idea and your points about the NTK aren't strong at all. What you describe is a substantially compliant notice.

    Just use the Template Defence.

thank you for reviewing. i'm curious though, why are the NtK points not valid? should we not use everything possible to weaken ukpc's claim?

UKPC use compliant NTKs so don't waste your defence saying otherwise.

DCB Legal discontinue EVERY claim before their client has to pay the hearing fee.

Don't waste your time & energy trying to reinvent the wheel! Play the Game. No need to overthink it nor ruin a defence which works.

Come strutting back here with a pic of your inevitable Notice of Discontinuance in the end please, for @Umkomaas' thread.

    🙂

plot twist - received another claim form today. same site, same car, same "offence" (not parked within markings or bay), different date/time. claim 2 is for the following day and at night time.

apart from the stronger signage section in the defence for claim 1 (unreadable sign at day time is even harder to read/notice at night), is there anything else i should include? perhaps something about the claimant wasting courts time issuing 2 seperate claims for the same site/car/offence?

Yep, go find the Henderson defence wording to add.

    update-

both defences were entered into MCOL, and DQ filed as well.

mediation for the first case is this week. anything specific to expect or say? i'd assume its just going to be mediator moving back and forth with offers of settlement?

Mediation is covered in the 8 steps in the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum, including advice on how to handle it

Please edit your thread title to something like the following

great - thank you. was looking for it in the newbies post, but found it and read through the examples provided.

does anyone know the number being called from? just to ensure i'll know to pickup vs all the other scammers…..

also, for anyone else reading this prepping for their mediation - keep it short, offer nothing, do not be bullied by the mediator.
