Good Morning everyone,

I’ve been up three hours already, so I expect I will be snoozing this afternoon, plus update online food shop due tomorrow, It’s our 29th wedding anniversary today, no plans.

Quiet day today, reading and snoozing, DH is planning on visiting his mum in her nursing home. DH says he will do tea tonight, so don’t know what he’s planning.

It looks a bit damp out there so we must have had light rain at some point. It's still feeling warm. My only plan for today is a Sainsbobs shop with DS, we will be ready and waiting for the doors opening for browsing time again. I must be more restrained than last week when I got a bit carried away.

Happy wedding anniversary Peony.

I've been up since ridiculous o'clock after a bad night. It's fine at the moment, though it's rained through the night.

Yesterday we painted the utility room. We emptied it completely, carried everything out to the back yard, which ended up looking like a second hand market. We just painted it cream again, and I washed the shelves and the floor,so it's looking quite nice.

That took most of the day, but it was worthwhile.

Don't know what delights await us today, nothing probably! I'm going to make a beef casserole, I know it's winter food but I kept seeing the meat in the freezer and fancying a casserole. My appetite is not good these days so I'm indulging myself. Dh will enjoy it as well.

Morning all

Feels cooler here this morning but we are due some sun later, I too have been awake very early, I woke at 4 this morning but just lay there till 6 when I got up, I seem to have lost the ability to lay in 😩

I’ve been out and fed and watered the birds this morning, I have not seen the rat recently so I hope he has moved on.

Bbq tonight we have some chicken thighs and there is a pork chop if OH wants it, I will do the same veg as yesterday as we still have the bits to make them.

OH will put his washing on when he gets up and I will wash the sofa throws later.

Good morning

It seems to be a bit cooler, still very hot overnight. I'm another one whose going to the supermarket for browsing time. Not that we need anything, I just want to get back into driving again, and think the roads will be quieter.

Going to try cooking a chicken in my new electric pressure cooker, that will do us for a couple of days meals and sandwiches.

Washing to hang out and supermarket delivery this morning. DS up later for dinner and to collect his shopping. Apart from that a quiet day today

Yesterday was busy , today will be much the same. Just trying to get on top of everything before two busy weeks where I’m working more hours than usual. Seems cooler and breezier.

Another one here with beef cassserole in the planning though if it’s too warm it’ll do for tomorrow.

Back - I've got a small quick wash on, once it's done it'll hang upstairs on the airer. Last minute packing and moving things around almost done. Some items will be added tomorrow morning after my night in the hotel, need to keep liquid stuff in the main case. No doubt there'll be more faffing before I set off for Glasgow later this morning.

Happy anniversary @peony40, maybe a wee glass tonight? Sorry you're under the weather @ScarletRibbons, sometimes a hearty casserole is just what the body wants. Hope that your little one is feeling better @camelot1001. I'll miss news of the wedding @mehefin so best wishes for a great day, a happy couple and a proud father. No doubt thoughts of your beloved wife will be wafting through your mind, treasure them.

I'm away in Toronto until 11 June. Got a few things booked and the rest I'll go with my energy and flow. 😀 Take care all, keep well as possible. xx

Morning Everyone

Sunny at the moment but there has been a lot of rain overnight and looks like there's more to come. The garden is looking a lot fresher but my lovely display of Peonys have taken a bit of a battering, glad I got some photos of them yesterday.

DD and family came over for their dinner yesterday, the little one is absolutely covered in spots, some are crusting over but more were appearing. She was remarkably cheerful, probably glad to be out of the house for a while. She ate a hearty meal of risotto and a magnum so that probably cheered her up!

I have some tomato and chilli plants to deliver to a friend today so will go to the tip (again) on the way. DD helped me to take apart a shelf unit I was gifted but don't need so will squeeze the bits in the car.

Housework all done yesterday, the windows were open and it was warm and breezy so the floors dried really quickly, just the bedding to change today but that will have to stay inside to dry.

Have the best time in Canada Gers, I'm sure you will find plenty to do and see.

Right, must go in the shower and put yesterday's washing away - I bought some new towels that had a wash through so need to put out some of the older ones.
