Weighted blanket query
Hi all
Not 100% sure this is the right place for this, but here goes.
Is there such a thing as a low TOG, king sized weighted blanket, that's at least 10kg ?
I know I'm asking for two things that probably don't work together, what with the low TOG and the weight of the blanket, but I'm 115kg, and it's now warmer weather.
Thanks in advance

what’s your budget? The one that seems to be the closest match is over 200 quid

You're looking for something like this. I have similar in cotton which is still kind of warm, this is linen so I don't know if it would be cooler.

That's not a weighted blanket. It's a linen throw and certainly doesn't weigh 10kg.

I think this is the one I have, I only started using one as I won it in a competition but I just sleep with a thin sheet on top of me and then this on top.

I made my own.
I worked out what weight I wanted then worked out how many squares I'd need and how much weight in each square.
I used a basic fabric then sewed columns into it. Inserted medical grade plastic beads (fine in the washing machine) into each column then sewed across to make each row, adding more beads each time. I then sewed pretty fabric on top to make it look nice.
Can't remember how much it cost me but it wasnt much.

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0
