Fresh ADP application whilst at tribunal
My adp is currently stuck at tribunal stage and has been for months, I believe you can trigger a new application with sss whilst you are waiting? Does the backdate go from the date you triggered your fresh application, or from the date of the tribunal decision? I called the sss 0800 number and they said I can make a fresh application, but it won’t be looked at until the tribunal outcome which I get, she also mentioned something about there being pros and cons of a fresh application depending on whether my health issues change but I lost her at this point and ended the call.

I can't recommend to you Benefits and Work, since they cover PIP and not ADP, but the general advice is that it's not worth making a fresh claim unless your health is worse - since they are likely to reach the same conclusion as they already have on your current claim.
