Fuse referral
Hi,
Having an issue with Fuse spin and win referral. Contacted Fuse and they gave me various excuses and BS. Apparently code only works if it is used within 15 minutes >

They have that one down to a fine art.
Never associate with idiots on their own level, because, being an intelligent man, you'll try to deal with them on their level - and on their level they'll beat you every time.
Being hated by idiots is the price you pay for not being one of them.

This sort of behaviour starts to raise red flags.

Source: Introducing the Fuse Energy referral programme
Fuse Energy run different referral campaigns from time to time. The above offer was dated about 4 weeks ago. (25 Jun 2026)
This campaign was based upon a fixed payout e.g. £50 each for a successful dual fuel referral. This campaign has now ended.
A previous campaign, for example, used a 'spin-the-wheel'' idea as mentioned in the OP which was posted almost 2 months ago.

Presumably you have a Fuse account?
If so, you can opt out of marketing messages as follows:
Open up your Fuse online account. Go to Settings > Notifications and turn off 'Enable pro alerts'.
Without pro alerts you’ll only receive billing updates, meter readings, and payment messages 😊

I suggest you contact Fuse and ask them why you are still receiving such messages.
I would say I have never received any marketing messages from Fuse.
Maybe it is because you have tried to refer someone?
It may be there is a time lag between changing your preferences and them coming into force. It's rarely instant & I've seen some companies (not necessarily energy suppliers) indicate it can take up to a month.
I'm just guessing.. Ask Fuse and get an explanation. If/when you think it appropriate, raise it as a formal complaint.
Do let us know how you get on.

Have you ever tried to speak to a human at Fuse?
Life is too short. I shall just continue to ignore their spam
