Zero milliseconds, as I've paid in advance, as many suppliers require. Anything further i can help you with?

What you write makes no sense.

The DCC is a data gateway (a bit like your ISP or phone company if you like) - not a central repository of meter data.

A mechanism to access data held elsewhere - not internally.

The meter holds the data - the supplier requests the data over the DCC network - and then stores the data - or even more so now shares it with others - for billing and/or other purposes like HHS.

And I believe only your current supplier has access to your meter - which I believe from posts here who seem more in the know - who have posted in the past on meter access - strictly applies to both receiving and old supplier for 1 day on day of switch.

Of course the new supplier could ask for historic data retrospectively (in the same way a user of bright app can) - once switch complete.

But is bound by the old rules that work for everyone - operational communicating smart or not (so near 40% still) - and the use of the third party data validators (who may or may not be authorised to read your smart meters).

Access depends a lot on what data are being requested. The 'switch day' bonus applies to meter register readings (the 'daily read log). Other stuff in the meter's datastore is available to all sorts of people armed with the appropriate permissions, including in some cases the customer's consent.
