A deposit account with one of your current financial institutions would serve the purpose.

    There are umpteen options nowadays.

Lloyds, First Direct, Chase, Monzo, Starling off the top of my head.

I like Monzo & Starling as they allow you to add notes to any transactions so the you don’t forget what the spend was. It also shows a map of where the spend took places I dare say that other banks also have these features, but I’m not sure which ones.

I would recommend that you have at least two just in case there’s an issue at one of the banks.

Banks prefer joint accounts that either party has equal access. Some basic changes like one account holder has online access or both sign only are fine but If you make a very bespoke demands they may refuse and simply opt to close the account instead.

Probably a fairly niche concern - you can take currency with you or withdraw on other days if using lots of cash.

The OP haven't even said if they need cash or will use card payment plus the local ATMs may surcharge if a non-local affliated card is used (Spain/USA)

£300 a day should be plenty for the vast majority of people. Especially as most people now use card only on holiday
