Roller blinds and open windows
If you need some fresh air but you don't want sun light or at night time, the roller blinds tend to bang against the window frame which can be annoying!
I found on Google that you could purchase some type of clip to "cushion" the bang but they seem pricey!
In the interest of MSE and DIYers….what do you use to prevent the roller blind banging against the frames? I am thinking pool foam maybe but likely not aesthetic!

Pipe installation would work but anything attached would cause a gap letting light in.

Self Adhesive Clear Silicone Bumpers
If you have white pvc windows, may be white PVC foam draught seal on the frame?
Sew few loops on the blind. then get a few 3M command hook/ cord clip to window sill/ wall.

Ooh good shout about Self Adhesive Clear Silicone Bumpers! Could stick them on the back of the blind and none is wiser!

Sorry in work but no issues with the blind since I added the sticky bumpers behind the base bar
So while we don't roll up all the way, the bumpers don't cause any issues. Can confirm that the noise is reduced although as typical I buy something, the situation changes - not windy or hot!
The window frames are PVC so not sure I would be comfortable screwing in but also we may not always have the blind all to way to the bottom. But good shout for the kitchen!

You could use double sided tape instead of screwing into the window frame ?
and stick some small bits of metal on the frame at various places e.g half way down etc.
