Human grave in garden of house.

Could the charity maybe split off the part of the garden with the mausoleum (maybe with a path up the side for maintenance), get it on it's own title, then sell the house + reduced back garden as normal…?

What we do not know is the scale involved. It could be a suburban garden, or a house with substantial grounds, or something inbetween. As an animal lover they may well have a large plot with facilities for keeping animals. Who knows ?
From googling it, 'graves in the garden' are not uncommon on country house estates, but obviously less so in the suburbs.
