Another parking charge from DCBL
hey Guys,
got a different parking notice from euro car parks but being chased by DCBL.
from 2023 but same issue as before, hadn’t updated my address on DVLA. This time though I was in the weathespoons car parks for 44 minutes and the contravention says I didn’t pay for a ticket. It’s one of those machines where you put your license plate in.
I have two card payments for spoons that day. One is for £1 exactly and contactless. 1 hour of parking is £1 and still £1 today. And a second charge which was my lunch that has a different Wetherspoons account attached for a different amount.
I’ve obviously bought a ticket and then something has happened with the license plate thing I guess as it’s camera controlled. I asked for evidence to get the times etc which they’ve sent.
they said they don’t deal with any appeals and it was years ago so it’s past the time for appeal. However I can pretty much prove I paid for parking and was a genuine customer.
What should I try? Or is it another take it down the court route?

Ignore DCBL
Respond to any LBC, probably from DCB LEGAL ( won't be from DCBL. )
Deal with any N1SDT Money Claim pack from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL by studying the first 2 posts in the defence template thread in announcements near the top of the forum

ahh ok so same as my other one then I guess. Could I say to them that I have evidence of paying for parking in that car park or is it not worth it? I have the evidence etc so I’ll happily take it all the way again if needed, thanks

I hope you have updated your address on V5C with DVLA now' real £1,000 fine for not doing so is possible. What have you just received? The original you say was 2023 and they have waited three years to produce what, a debt collector letter or a letter before claim or N1SDT claim form?

You could mention it to DCB LEGAL if they send you a letter
You are banging your head against a solid concrete wall with DCBL, Because their only job is to relieve you of £170 per pcn, nothing else, they have no powers to intervene apart from collecting the money
You should be ignoring DCBL

Except to check and change your address on the DCB Ltd portal if the old one still shows.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
