C1 inventory money from US pension held in London

Here is an unusual one.

My Dad died recently and I am trying to fill in the C1 form. The final one I want to check is the pension payment he received from the USA via Bermuda. His final payment was transferred from Bermuda to OFX (money transfer people) in London before he died, but he was in hospital and did not release the funds before he died.

OFX will not release the funds without grant of confirmation, and it is still in US$ but is held in UK.

I wanted to put this on the inventory under estate in England and Wales:

Payment from [Pension Fund Name], held in transit by UKForex (OFX),10 Whitechapel High Street, London, E1 8QS US$ xxxx.xx (valued with date of death exchange rate)

Then in value column I will put a GBP value. Does this look reasonable?

You might wish to include some text to reference that that is in respect of a (regular?) pension payment due to the deceased, to distinguish it from being interpreted as a post-death entitlement.

The conversion rate should be as at date of death.

I assume that the C1 will also show at least one item of estate in Scotland, the court will look for same. Also assuming that the estate is greater than £36k.

hi thanks. yes was a regular pension fund, okay I will add that. yes half a house in Scotland (no survivorship clause), and 2 cars, the rest is in banks based in England. More than 36000 in total.
