art of spending sounds very interesting, will have to see if i can get it from my local library, could do with some help with that!

well done on managing to get to your £200, I saw a post on insta earlier, about investing £20 a month into a S&S ISA and impact that would have over a 15-30 year period. The figures were very surprising.

Ugh egg, chips and beans are my nemesis. The three things I hate the most all on one plate 🤢😂Yes I know I’m not normal 🤣

Good news about your dad realising he needs help.

I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪

I think as long as you are sensible with options you chose, most have had 10+% growth on them so alot better than any saver.

Fingers crossed on your Dad accepting a little more help. That sounds like a successful outcome in a tricky area!

@Sun_Addict - I can't abide baked beans encroaching on the food on my plate whereas MrBC mixes them up with everything on his plate 🤢

@Catscoffeecake - I'm pleased with my investing choices so far and I've weathered a few significant dips for Covid, wars etc

@Wanna_Bee_Free - it will be great once dad settles to the new routine. It's early days of resistance and moaning at the moment!
