Full Competition Entry Terms & Conditions:

1. This competition is promoted by Alpkit (“Promoter”) in partnership with Much Better Adventures and Nikwax and is open to individuals aged 18 and over. Employees, directors, and agents of Alpkit, Much Better Adventures, and Nikwax, along with their immediate family members and anyone otherwise professionally connected with this promotion, are not eligible to enter.
2. Promotional Period: The Promotion runs from 9:00 on 18/05/ 2026 until 23:59 on 03/07/2026.
3. No purchase is necessary to enter but internet access is required.

5. The Prize: A 7-night Dolomites hiking adventure for two (worth £4960), or the option to choose any trip of equal or lesser value. The total prize value is up to £6000 and includes:

A guided hiking adventure with a small group of like-minded travellers
7 nights’ accommodation in cosy 3-star hotels with spa facilities
All breakfasts and 6 dinners
Airport and in-country transfers
Equipment for the journey, including:
2 pairs of Alpkit boots (of the winners’ choice)
2 Alpkit waterproof jackets of choice (of the winners’ choice)
A Nikwax care bundle worth £150

Flights are not included in the prize. All elements of the prize are subject to availability.

1. The prizes carry no cash value, are non-transferable and may not be substituted by the winner. No compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The winner will be contacted on 7 July 2026. If the winner fails to claim their prize within 3 days, another winner will be randomly chosen.
2. Winner Selection: The winner will be selected using a random third-party tool.
3. The Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to another entrant selected in the same way. The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the winner is unable to use the prizes as stated.
4. Bulk entries made from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries, by or via third parties or syndicates, entries by macros or other automated means (including systems which can be programmed to enter), and entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these terms and conditions in full will be disqualified and will not be counted. If it becomes apparent that a participant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that participant’s entries into the prize draw in a way that is not consistent with the spirit of the Promotion, that person’s entries will be disqualified and any prize award will be void.
5. The Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify entries which it considers do not comply with these terms and conditions or any participant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion. If the Promoter feels that an entrant has cheated or conducted unfair practice (i.e. spamming of entries or treating other entrants unkindly) then the Promoter reserves the right to withhold the prize indefinitely until a final judgement has been made. This final judgement may include disqualification, in which case the prize will be reallocated as per Point 8.
6. The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age, and other relevant details of a participant.
7. The Promoter will announce and contact the winner via email, and therefore by entering the competition, the winner agrees to be contacted directly by Alpkit via email.
8. The Promoter will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the Promotion and for no other purpose unless we have your consent. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this competition or communicating with entrants. The participant may withdraw consent to such use of personal information by writing to the Promoter or by using the opt-out process outlined in the Promoter’s privacy policies.
9. By opting in to partner emails, entrants consent to their contact details being shared with partners for marketing purposes. Entrants may choose whether or not to receive marketing communications from partners, and consent is not a condition of entry unless explicitly stated. Partner communications will be subject to the partner’s own privacy policy, and entrants may unsubscribe at any time.
10. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or cannot be entered.
11. The Promoter cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, costs, expenses or claims suffered by entrants as a result of entering the Promotion or accepting the prizes.
12. By entering the Promotion you are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
13. The Promoter’s decision in all matters is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
