The prize:

The winner and guest will stay for two nights, B&B, at the Cookie Jar – a friendly and discreet boutique hotel within a bowshot of Alnwick Castle in Northumberland. It is spread throughout a former convent and offers 11 pretty, well-equipped bedrooms.

The winner and guest will stay in the Chapel, the largest room, decked out in the hotel’s trademark mix of dusky blues, creamy whites and raspberry reds, with high ceilings, stained glass and a freestanding copper bath adding a touch of grandeur. The charming town of Alnwick is on the doorstep and the soft sand beaches of the Northumberland coast are not far beyond.

The prize also includes one three-course dinner for two (excluding drinks) at the hotel’s Bistro restaurant. It must be taken before December 23, 2026, subject to availability and excluding public holidays.
