Multiple Spotify accounts - one smart speaker
We're considering getting an Echo Dot but my wife and I have seperate Spotify accounts and I think I'm right in saying that you can only connect to one right? If so, are there other smart speakers that you can link multiple accounts to or is it a Spotify issue.
If you can only connect to one account, then presumable one of us can just connect our phone with the other Spotisy account on it and play through that right?

You would be cheaper combining them into a duo account and then sharing an account.
If you are keeping separate accounts I think a Google speaker will work as you would have your own Spotify account linked to your own Google account and then when you speak it will recognise your voice and link to the correct account.

You might be better off with family, one account used for each of your personal devices and one for the Echo so that it does not cut you off when elsewhere as you cannot use the same account on multiple devices simultaneously.

My wife and I have Spotify Duo accounts and it works perfectly with both Google and Alexa devices. We both still keep our Spotify accounts as if they were independent of each other. We can each be listening to our own stuff on different speakers in different parts of the house.
