Solicitor for buying property dropped us because of the age of the property

A solicitor may refuse to act on a flat purchase if it is 5 years old because they lack expertise in the Building Safety Act, the building has unresolved fire safety/cladding issues requiring an EWS1 form.
If this is close to their response ask for a full refund and see what they say.

Very true I hadn't seen the OP say it has 4 floors although I wonder if that's 1st-4th and a ground floor.
