Supplier has not complied with Ombudsman
Unusual circumstances but the Ombudsman ruled that my energy supplier should NIL bill me (new build site on generators no grid connection yet) but my supplier is still sending bills. Ive been back to the Ombudsman so many times its ridiculous. Now I have 6 missed payments on my credit file and my credit score has gone down 200 points plus they are threatening debt collectors. I email the suppliers in house Ombudsman team but they don't reply. I don't know where to go from here. Any ideas please?..TIA

Who is the supplier? What is it that they are billing you for?
Have you formally reported to the ombudsman that the supplier has ignored the ruling?
You can also report the suppliers' non-compliance to Ofgem or take them to court.

Yes I have an Ombudsman complaint t they ruled in favour. Ive been back to the Ombudsman several times and they keep chasing things up but nothing ever happens. I moved into a new build feb 2025 on a generator. We were told we would be connected to the grid by the end of February so I switched suppliers ready not realising at the time my meter is moving. It's moving because the generators are supplying the substation. Which supplies the houses. The meters were put in by British Gas. The grid connection plan fell through to a dispute and an alternative connection must ge sort. I have supplied both utility warehouse and the Ombudsman an email from the DNO last mile stating its nothing to do with them as we are a private network and not grid connected. An email from the builders stating we are not grid connected and we should not be paying electric and once we are connected the site manager will go out and read the meters and supply a letter with our start read. The Ombudsman ruled that I should be nil billed in November last year. I have been back to the Ombudsman several times stating im still getting bills I've told them about my credit score going down ect. Utility warehouse will sell my debt to a collection agency next if nothing gets done. Should I write an official letter stating that if the issues are not fixed by my next bill I will take them to court as I understand the Ombudsman decision is legally binding.
