It would make more sense if the wording stated something like…
"We have converted your account from a SDS Issue 5 to an SDS Issue 6".

I'd just be grateful they'd allowed me to renew a 5% easy access account for another year with minimal effort, and not worry too much about how they'd confirmed the fact.
