Melton fixed savings problems

anyone sucessfully opened the melton 4.8% fixed rate acc. been through the application and had it approved, got email telling me to log on and activate but just get error saying data incorrect. phone help been hanging on 25 minutes now cut off after saying try later,

what an absolute crappy website. Finally got logged on, no details how to transfer funds in or what the payment window is. CanI be bothered with this.

My application for this account last night was met with "Unfortunately, we couldn't open your account at this time. Please contact our support team for assistance".

On calling them this morning, I was eventually told that I would have to post them a completed application form instead. As the account is showing as online or in branch only (and will probably get pulled within the next few days anyway), I think I already know how this is going to end.

Oh well, although sucessfully opened account , when i try to use the details provided my bank verfication wouldnt verify it, no matter what combinations. So i thought id try sending just £1 to check, after several hours still not showing in my savings account so think i'll give them a miss, also i know doesnt always mean much but trust pilot reviews are terrible, averaging about 2.5 out of 5. Anyway Ive opened a recognise savings account which is paying higher at 4.85% 1 yr fixed. Verified ok, sent my first deposit which was imediately acknowleged by text,
