had a disappointing orthopaedic appointment on Wednesday ,he thinks the main hip problem is in the part of the hip that wouldn’t be replaced ,also my lower spine concerns him a lot ,now waiting for MRI ,in the meantime the pain is unchanged
Trying to find out the waiting time for MRI and also cost of private ,may need to bite bullet and see a back specialist privately once ,I certainly can’t go on like this for months .
Fed up and suffering a severe sense of humour loss .

Morning folks, back again and will try not to lose my condensed version of the lost post! 25 deg forecast today. I have already cast my jumper and just in t.shirt.
First job done, filling my dossett boxes. A tedious job but has to be done. Now having another coffee to contemplate what job next. I can no longer go at jobs like a bull at a gate so will steadily potter away at my own speed. Jobs both inside and out await.
Yesterday's busy day ended with DD picking me and DGD up to collect her Prom dress which needed slight alterations. She looks like a princess in it but considering the eye wateringly high cost of the dress she should do! She absolutely loves it and didn't want to take it back off.
Have a good day folks if you can with ((HUGS)) for all in need. Happy Holiday IZZY, fingers crossed the meds work as I remember how you suffered on your last cruise. Take care all, be safe in this long awaited sunshine x

Happy holiday @Izzy - it'll be good to get away.
@TravellingAbuela - It's mind-boggling to think of one of you DGD's having a prom. Doesn't seem so long ago that you were knee deep in pasta bakes and looking after them.
Grass cutting done and the two plants in the ground. The big elderflower tree is in bloom and the climbing hydrangea has some buds showing. The big rose bush at the front also has a couple of buds popping up. And the weather is still miserable.
Today is the fifth anniversary of the death of my beloved DM, it's so thoughtful of my nephew to organise his trip to be with me. Some people are golden. ❤️

GERS it really is frightening how quickly time flies. And as you get older it seems to fly by even more quickly. It doesn't seem like 5 years since you lost your DM. This is the last of the Proms for my girlies! Middle DGD had hers last year but eldest DGD didn't get one! Much to her chagrin hers was cancelled thanks to Covid and lockdowns. You are right, it doesn't seem 2 minutes since I was bogged down looking after them all but I miss those days.
I have fallen into messing about mode here, but as well as my dossett boxes I have now sorted the freezer out (again!) and stocks really do seem to be diminishing at last. Before long I will probably panic and fill it back up again!

Hi everyone,
I'm still in the throes of looking after little ones. I love it even if it is exhausting.
Laure rang me up to say that Esther had told her she didn't have to do what mummy says! Not true of course. Laura says she's raising a Muffin from the Bluey cartoon. I think she's raising a mini-me. It's hard now but she'll turn into the loveliest person.
Gers, I hope you have a lovely time remembering your mother with your nephew.
Ruby, I'm thrilled to hear of your daughter's success after everything she went through.
I've put the air conditioner on in the living room, we need to use it after having it installed.
Have a good day.
