Gaming site refuse to refund my money ( wasn't gambled )
Afternoon , I recently signed up for a game called chicken road ( avoid ) , I deposited £20 (min required to play ) and then played the demo version , I then realised it was a scam and tried to withdrawal my £20 , however it was then stated that the minimum amount to withdrawal is £100 , I hadn't been made aware of this when I logged in , I have contacted trading standards and they state that this is against gambling regulations, however they say I need a name of the people who owns this company to make the complaint, dies anyone know how i can find this out . Thank you

Just Googling "chicken road" brings up a online gambling puff site but it does say
Where to Play Chicken Road Online
Chicken Road is available at a range of trusted online casinos, including licensed UK platforms. When choosing a casino to play Chicken Road, always look for a site that is regulated, secure, and offers fair gaming conditions.
so I guess the question is which "trusted online casino" did you give your money to?

Why?
What has this to do with consumer rights?
If this is about "gambling" then "gaming" is the most appropritate board.

How did you deposit the money?

Is OP talking about the APP? If so then they are a US co. Easily found when looking on playstore.

Deposit £80 so you can withdraw the £100. I do matched betting and have to do this sort of thing quite frequently.

Gaming is for games, this is gambling, which is nothing to do with gaming unless the person is American.

There are many games online that you can win money via playing them.

Quite a lot of them are fixed odds betting, the "game" is just an overlay the user thinks they are playing. There are some ultra low skill things like bingo or variations of, which are still classed as gambling legally. Some people play things like CS:GO for money so that is gaming for money.
