Savings Question
Hi All
This is probably an easy one to answer but i am just looking for confirmation that i am correct.
I opened a savings account in May this year (so falling in the April 26 - April 27 tax year).
It is a fixed for 12 months savings account which matures in May 27 (interest paid annually)
So am I right in thinking that the interest accumulated will actually fall into the 27/28 tax year due to it being paid to me in May 27?
Many thanks in advance for you help
