Ah, whoops, thank you for the correction. How would one ensure continuity of WCA status - open the claim the day after UC ends?

I would assume so.
To be honest, I don't actually have any practical experience - it could even be they would allow a credits-only ESA claim despite someone being on UC (even though the regs don't technically allow it).
