Best short term savings account
Hi, I've just taken partial retirement and received a lump sum which I'm still trying to decide what to do with. Any advice on where to hold the money in the meantime would be very helpful! Some of it is already earmarked and I plan to open an investment ISA so I'm just looking for something short term and with easy access. Thank you.

Assuming you haven't previously been with Chase, I'd probably go for their easy access savings account (4.5%), which is available for new customers only.
You'd need to open their current account first, but both can be done very quickly.

Thank you very much, I know Martin L had mentioned Chase so it's good to have another recommendation.

I don't believe Martin L gives recommendations.

Have a look at MoneyFacts. When looking at the tables change 'sort' to by rate.
