Midas Man - Studio POW (Epstein) Ltd Film Investment

Does anyone know what is happening with the investments made in Midas Man and the other Studio POW productions? Studio POW Ltd itself appears to have been dissolved, although the Midas Man vehicle is still open. The websites and phone lines have gone - where has the film gone? All info woud be gratefully received…..

Did you "invest" money in it? If so, the situation doesn't look good. It looks like it made it as far as Amazon Prime Video, but broadly seems to have been a flop, with those involved having now moved on.

No idea. But Studio POW Ltd has just had a liquidator appointed because Siemens Financial Services Limited asked the court to do so. It is the Official Receiver who has been appointed and so you could try writing to them - https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/10435875/insolvency

Studio POW (Epstein) Ltd is still an active company but is late filing its accounts and confirmation statement. Not a good sign. It seems to be owned by Studio POW Ltd so the liquidators of that company will know more.

What do you mean by "the investments made in" this venture?

What financial product was used for the investment? Was it made directly or via a third-party?

I think there was a second thread about this, equally lacking in information. Best to conclude that your money is gone. Trying to pursue a return of that money is likely throwing good money after bad.

Hi Gillian, thanks for you reply - I have now contacted the insolvency practice dealing with winding-up the Studio POW parent company. who have sent me forms to register as a creditor - you can write to william.cutts@mha.co.uk to register. I have also been contacted privately by another investor who is making enquiries with staff involved in the production side - I will let you know if I hear any more details. Best wishes.
