I had a DRO in 2020, 6 years after on 10th June, Credit help and Barclays help !
Hello everyone, I had a DRO in 2020 and the 6 years is up on the 10th June , Looking forward to that milestone ! I have been very religious in checking my Experian file and have really got my finances in order and saved a considerable amount. I have an ISA now and various savings accounts giving me interest every year. Experian shows my credit rating at 755 at the moment which is "Fair" I have noticed on there that every debt has vanushed except BarclayCard where they are still saying I owe roughly £8000. It is still on my file but nothing else. Is that right ? I rang them and they said it would vanish after the 6 years. Is that correct ? Do I need to complain or send a letter ? Do I need to contact Experian ? Your help would be very useful ! I also plan to get a credit card and buy my fuel every month on it and set up a direct debit to pay it all off every month. To build my credit further. When would be the best time to do that ? Any help would I would be eternally grateful and kindest regards.

Presumably the DRO still shows on your file in the insolvency section. The card entries should have a default or settled date that mean they disappear at the same time. If they still show after the DRO drops off then complain.
