Pet tracker for my cat

I am looking for recommendations for a good tracker for my cat. She’s mainly an indoor cat, but she managed to get outside without us noticing and was missing for almost a full day. Thankfully, she came back home safe, but it gave us a real scare. I’d like to get a tracker for her collar so we can locate her quickly if it happens again. What trackers would you recommend that are lightweight, reliable, and safe for cats?

I've seen a few dogs with chipolo pop tags on their collars, not sure if they'd be suitable?

We've used a few different ones. My 2 main picks depending on your needs would be:

1. Tabcat. This is super lightweight, and has a battery that lasts 6 months plus. However as it uses radio frequency rather than GPS, it only works over short distances (couple of hundred metres) and declines quickly through any physical objects (wall). If your cat will be staying very close this could be an option.
2. Tractive. They do a cat version which is the most lightweight GPS tracker that I could find. Being GPS it will work at any distance and pretty much never impeded by walls etc. However the battery will only last 3 or 4 days. It is super accurate; we used it for many years and on the odd occasion our cat lost his collar, we were able to walk through the fields by our house and find the collar based on the tracking app.

Both of the above have audio beeps to help you locate your pet. The Tractive also has a light that you can activate if you were searching for your cat in the dark.

I have a Tractive mini tracker on all of my cats after one of them went missing for a period of time. They aren't cheap (the tracker itself isn't much but the GPS subscription is costly - £84 for a year or £120 if you pay for 2 years upfront). But they are reliable and accurate. Battery life is variable depending on how active your cat is. One of mine (the one that went missing) goes roaming for hours at a time and his battery lasts around 2 days. For the cats that stay nearer to home (and therefore end up in the wifi zone most of the time so GPS powers down) it lasts closer to a week.
