Thank you for that link to the SRA, I didn't know there was a difference between the company being regulated by them and the people that work there. I expanded the text and it quotes:

• If things go wrong and your money is lost, our compensation fund will not be able to reimburse you

That was what I was specifically alluding to.

As for their trading activities this appears to be via the The Will Associates company, which on my reading of those last accounts did not fill me with confidence with regard to their financial security -
