How to get equity, force a sale and remove a borrower. What are my options?
I half own a three bed house in Dublin. My ex still lives in the house. We have about 7 years left to pay off the mortgage. I stopped paying in 2014. The mortgage was started in April 2008.
I have no clue how to force a sale. I have gone down the route to remove me as a borrower but she refuses to do this.
Can anyone let me know if I will ever get my deposit back on this property and what are my options? My name is on the deeds and mortgage as well as hers.

Suggest you post you question on an Irish site. The law is different.
When you asked your lawyer what did they say?

You need to see a solicitor, if not already done.
