2 years ago on 31 march 2024. I went to paratha stop in bolton where you validate yoir parking and can stay more than hour as it is a restaurant. On this very day unfortunately for me the tablet for validating your parking kept freezing and not registering my car reg. I was advised and thankfully i did take a picture of this screen just incase. I appealed this to smart parking low behold did they even read the appeal defo not. So I then went to ombundsmen I think its popla. Unfortunately there is no number to contact them directly. So you cant speak to a human to actually explain the sityation. This is how these greedy people get civilians. During the appeal i attached the frozen parking validation screen as well as my bank statement to prove i was a customer. They literally contradicted themselves in the decision and useless. I was advised to ignore the parking reminders by paratha stop. But they havent spoken to the owner of the parking lot unfortunately. I have been going back and forth 2 years to get this mess sorted to no avail. They now trying to take it to court. And i need a solictor or something to help me fight this as well as advice. Honestly the way these parking fine companies scam people and bully us needs to be sorted. Ombudmens need to have a phone line to dosxuss the case they meant to help civillians not the parking people. Looking at all the unjust parking fines people have stated shows we need to fight and make a change.

There was no "fine" just a speculative invoice from greedy chancers that reject anything you say hoping to bully you in to giving up and paying.

You have the evidence to see them off, but they will give in at the last minute anyway if you follow the game you don't need a solicitor, the SCC was developed to be a simplified fast legal route for individuals, but the parking industry has hi-jacked it as a bullying tactic.

Hi, yes I have a claim form. Also whats Scc. And do i just fill the form. Unfortunately the shop is not helpful with giving me official letter confirming tge 1 hr + howver i went today in my fathers car as we have been trying to contact the rrstaurants owners and i put his reg online and tooka screenshot of tye 3hrs. Will it be hard as before they had a tablet and now they have the scan qr code and do it on ur phone. Im just scared thst they might use other bullying tactics with words I dont understand and legal terms. Please cqn you send me the link to what ur referring to. Apologies its unfortunqte its come when I am fully ill. I wish the goverment had something proper to straughten these bullys and protect us

Hi the date of issue is 7th may and yh 1 pcn 199.00 and with the fees and stuff is 284.52. Sorry im a complete nuance i havent been given a goverment gateway account. Also what does MCOL srand for. Apologies for being an inconvenience. Really appreciate the account
