Extending EasyJet return

Out of interest, has anyone had any luck extending their holiday return flight while already on holiday ?

Eg return flight booked for 15th but returning 25th ? Of a month

I tried this once… I had booked both outbound and return flights as single tickets, and wanted to change the date of the return. The fee that Easyjet wanted was acceptable, but because I had bought my tickets through an agency rather than directly from Easyjet I needed to ask the agency to make the change, and that more than doubled the cost! In the event I simply wasted the ticket and bought a completely new one for my new date.

should have mentioned this is direct and their holiday, I found myself with some leave I need to take and was thinking either change the return date and pay the hotel the difference or extend in full with easyJet If I cancel and rebook for the full period id lose money

If its a Package Holiday then I don't think it will be changeable after it has started. In fact easyJet state date changes are not possible after 28 days before departure https://www.easyjet.com/en/holidays/help?helpCategory=changes&helpQuestion=changefees

You'd likely need to see if there's any cheap one way inbound flights and sort accommodation yourself. Out of courtesy tell easyJet you won't be using any return transfer, and miss the flight.

That was pretty much my understanding, hence asking if anyone had any luck.

the reason I’ve not phoned to speak, i simply don’t like speaking into phones weird as it seems.

But other people's experiences will not categorically answer your question.

You need to contact Easyjet and ask them.

There are other ways to contact them than speaking into a phone.

As @bagand96 said, trying to get a cheap alternative flight back is a way to do what you want.

In my experience, as a frequent visitor to Turkey, local expats have given advice on when the best times/days are for a cheap flight to the UK, usually at unsocial hours.
