Small damp patch on external wall after heavy prolonged rain - who to call?
Hi all,
I have noticed that after prolonged heavy rain, my outside wall gets 2 damp patches either side of the chimney break just under the roof. I have circled on the picture attached where they appear.
I am not sure who I would need to get in to look at this, a brickie or a roofer? I can't see anything obvious but clearly some rain is getting in up there somewhere!

Is it only the outside skin that's got the issue?

There is no evidence of anything on the other side, in the loft..

I wouldn't be too worried if it's only outside. When it's really hammering down go outside and see if water is running off the edge of the verge onto those parts to soak them.

Okay mate will do, thank you!

I had a similar issue and called a roofer - he spent ages looking for a leak but admitted these are the hardest types of problems to solve. If there's no damp on the inside I wouldn't worry too much.
