Bought one of those brabantia bins for just over £25, arrived & when unpacked had had a dent in it. E-mailed them asking for an exchange & was told there was not any more, so i could return it for a full refund, decided to keep it(superb price) & in jest asked for a discount(e-mailed them y/day). I received a reply straight away offering a 20% discount=£8.00.
So now it has only cost me £17.00 for both of them.
Cheers amazon:T

Very impressed indeed with their returns/ replacement service for faulty goods. My son's Christmas present packed in after a few days, I followed a few links on their site, printed out a couple of labels, was put in touch with DHL who collected early the next day. No postage charge, not even a walk to the post box.
Meanwhile, Amazon sent out a replacement which arrived three days' later.

I can't praise Amazon enough either. V good refund/exchange policy. The thing about not having to pay for returns is excellent especially as they do it through DHL who aren't the cheapest option.
I rent DVDs from them too. I had quite a few go missing in the post in a short space of time when I lived in one particular place. Every time they sent replacements straight out, no quibble - even gave me free rental credits for the inconvenience at times.
Shame more companies aren't like Amazon really.0 -
I've been using Amazon for books for several months now and have been very impressed with their service. I emailed them and told them so as well!
It has been easy ordering from them and I cannot fault the speed of their delivery. Great!0 -
When i first used amazon for some books for uni, their postage was extremely slow.
I ordered 2 items for birthday presents on thursday, not expecting them to get here for a week or so and they came this morning (saturday). Thumbs up amazon!0 -
Just registered in order to reply to this, I agree that amazon have great service and not being out of pocket for returns is nice, but the thing I like best about them is that if the price goes down on something you've bought within a month of your order, you can email them and get the difference refunded!
I did it after Christmas when the price went down on some of the presents I'd bought - there's nothing more annoying than buying them in the shops and everything being half the price come January :rolleyes:0 -
I Love amazon too they are great, and dont even ask you too many questions0

I bought a present Wednesday afternoon and it was delivered yesterday morning with the postie.
Top class service from Amazon and the Royal Mail.Between two evils, I always pick the one I never tried before0 -
I buy alot from Amazon:o...but they recently failed to deliver a Dvd which they had dispatched (presumably lost by the good old post office:rolleyes:) they tried to dispatch it again for free and managed to issue me with a refund too! I have contacted them to let them know (though I was tempted to say nothing:cool:) and they asked for my permission to charge me....they were falling over themselves trying to sort it out...bless0
