35.1 Competition Period

The Tour Match Maker Competition (the “Competition”) runs from 13 May 2026 to 31 August 2026 inclusive (the “Competition Period”). Entries received outside this period will not be considered.

35.2 Eligibility

The Competition is open to individuals aged 18 years or over who meet the Entry Requirements set out below. Employees of Expat Explore Travel, its group companies, agents, or anyone professionally connected with the Competition, are not eligible to enter.

No purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.

By submitting an entry and participating in the Competition, participants agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions.

35.3 Entry Requirements

A person enters the competition by completing the Tour Match Maker quiz on the Expat Explore website and entering their name and email address on the contact form when prompted. The marketing consent does not affect the entry status.

Only one entry per person will be counted, regardless of the number of quiz submissions completed.

35.4 Winner Selection

Two winners will each receive a prize consisting of two seats on a 7-day Iceland tour: one seat for the winner and one seat for a travel companion.

Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the applicable entry period.

The first winner will be drawn on 1 July 2026 from all entries received prior to this date, and the second winner will be drawn on 1 September 2026 from all entries received prior to this date.

35.5 Prize

Details of the prize won by each winner:

• 2 seats for them and a companion on a 7-day Iceland tour starting on 25 April 2027.
• Accommodation for the duration of the tour is provided for the winner and their companion in a twin-share room. A single supplement may be offered prior to departure at the traveller’s expense, but cannot be guaranteed.
• The winner’s travel companion must be aged 10 years or over at the time of departure. Participants under the age of 18 must travel with a parent or legal guardian. 
• No private room upgrades, add ons, additional meals, optional excursions or additional extras are included in the prize. 
• Winners and their companions must arrange for their own flights at their own expense.
• Each traveller is responsible for ensuring they hold valid passports and satisfy all entry and visa requirements. 
• Each traveller is responsible for arranging their own travel insurance. 
• Expat Explore Travel Ltd reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so. 
• The prize cannot be changed to a different departure date, and cannot be transferred to another tour. The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and has no cash alternative.
• In the event of death, accident, illness or any other reason that prevents the winner from travelling, the prize will be forfeited.

35.6 Administration of the Prize

The winners will be notified through the contact details provided during their entry submission.

If a winner does not respond within 30 days of the initial communication, or if a winner is found to be ineligible or fails to comply with these Terms and Conditions, the prize will be forfeited at the discretion of Expat Explore. In such a case, Expat Explore reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

35.7 Publicity

By participating in the competition, Each winner agrees that Expat Explore may use their first name, likeness, and competition-related content for reasonable promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

35.8 Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

35.9 Data Protection and Privacy

Personal information collected from participants during the competition will be handled in accordance with the Expat Explore Privacy Policy, and will solely be used for the purpose of administering the competition, unless consent to receive marketing communications is selected during the form submission.

35.10 Disqualification

Expat Explore reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these terms and conditions or engages in any fraudulent, offensive, or inappropriate conduct. Expat Explore Travel decisions regarding the competition, including but not limited to the selection of the winner, are final and binding.

35.11 Limitation of Liability

Expat Explore Travel Ltd, its affiliates, employees, agents, and representatives shall not be responsible or liable for any loss, damage, injury, or disappointment suffered by any participant arising from or in connection with participation in the Competition or the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law.
