Parking fine ccj having paid for parking just not within 10 minutes

I parked in May 2024 for 50 mins in a camera operated private car park didn’t pay straight away but after about half and hour (as rushed to chip shop before it shut first) but I paid for a full hour before I left ( didn’t realise was a time limit on paying and was told by chip shop owner it was free so delayed until got back to car park )

It’s now £170’andnhave had a ccj request claim is there a change in code of conduct that they can’t do this as long as pay before you leave for full parking is sure I read this (Feb 2025 article ) if so can anyone help me to find where code of conduct says this explicitly and how I can challenge this to court thanks

Firstly, start with the current facts because I believe that you have a Money claim form from the CNBC in Northampton using MCOL, not a CCJ

Do you have a Letter before claim. ?

Name the private parking company claimant involved and Name any lawyers involved too

You are talking about the '5 minute rule' change. Did your payment fully cover all time on site though?

Enforcement I think. Yes I did pay for the whole time I was there I entered at 1352 paid at 1419 for a whole hour and left at 1442.

Yes you are correct it is a claim form with the response packnetc Northampton court address in dated May 6th hope this helps

Thank you very much for this sorry if I’m a bit slow but are you suggesting I copy this defence apart from the specifics of why didn’t pay in 10mins. Is it worth me contacting the BHA first or civil enforcement to try and get the claim scalped altogether
