What a complete farce POPLA is.

It is important to explain that POPLA is a single stage, determinative process, and there is no recourse to reconsider the appeal, or change the outcome.

I suspect that this is a stipulation of the BPA, it is totally ridiculous, unfair and out of order, and we have seen cases on here where they have bent this rule if an operator objects to a decision.

If you get to the Letter Before Action stage I suggest you email your POPLA evidence to DCB Legal and tell them that you will counterclaim and force their client to a hearing if they unwisely decide to make a claim.

Dear Bethany, please inform me of the name and serviceable address of someone from your organisation who will be attending the hearing as a witness.

I as sure someone will point out that organisations such as POPLA cannot be put under this intolerable pressure from wronged motorists!

It looks like I have more problems on this case!!

DCBL say they have sent me two letters - I have received neither. I live in a private house. The only people who have access to my post are me and my wife. Letters from other sources are being received without issue. I confirmed my address with DCBL and it is correct.

My worry is that if something is going wrong at the DCBL end I may not get the important letters (i.e. letter before action) that need to responded to. I have asked DCBL to send me email copies and to confirm via email any other letters they may send in the future - I very much doubt they will do this.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what my next steps should be?

If you really meant DCBL, the debt collectors, use their own app to inform them of the correct name and address for the service of papers , which i did mention back in page 1 a few weeks ago

You said that they have the correct details, so you cant do anything else, other than inform DCB Legal if you feel the need to, as pointed out by Car1980

Keep dated copies and screenshots etc, as evidence of informing them all of the correct address for the service of papers
