EES & Returning to UK from European Airports

  • From what I've read, it seems to vary quite a bit between airports. Some people are through in no time, others seem to get stuck in queues. Hopefully it'll settle down once everyone gets used to the new system.

    In my last few trips after the EES became fully active, I never encountered a long queue on my way out. In fact when I went out at Oslo Airport two days ago there was no queue at all.

    However, getting in was a problem. Before EES, I could pass through the control as fast as 10 seconds, but now I have to queue for at least half an hour at nearly every port I get in, and at one occasion the staff inspected my dozens of stamps in my passport thoroughly for 10 minutes, cross checking the computer records, before letting me in
