That's all very well, but at the moment you hold all the cards. You have two watches and have only paid for one.

Edited to add: I think it would be a good idea to write to them to say you dispute their version of events and that the watch they've recently sent you is safe and available for collection whenever they are ready. Having that in writing might be useful if this ends up going legal and they try and accuse you of keeping two watches.

DO NOT send it back yourself. That would risk it being lost and then you would have a problem.

I thought that would mean to have the U3 that has gone astray blocked, as per the box with the U3 serial number on it but the U2 watch inside.

Not to block the replacement U3.

Well since U3(1) has never been in the possession of the OP, and Currys have no idea where it is, does it really matter if this watch gets blacklisted?

Maybe I'm being alarmist with this talk of deactivating watches, I do know that Samsung threaten this sanction if you fail to make good on credit payments or trade-in deals.

When the OP received the original watch. Was the watch box all sealed up, did the watch have the protective screen in place?
