Q about adding second battery to eBike. (Not sure which best forum).

    Thanks all. Yup, you are right.

    A battery 'balancer' is required - the two batteries connect to the bike via this.

    Or, disconnect one battery and connect t'other.

    2 packs that you switch over is the easiest option, or if space is permitting fit both packs and use a battery cutoff so you can just
    switch between them. You need to make sure that it cuts power to the one battery before it switches the power on for the
    second battery.
