Ceiling halogen light fitting pins ???

Sorry if this doesn't make techie sense.
I have ceiling downlights and have lost a couple of the retaining pins holding the bulbs in place.
They are the springy almost circluar type that click into the light fitting.
There must be a real knack to this as mine just spring out again.
Does anyone happen to know what these are actually called and where I can buy them.

think theyre just called retaining clips/springs.
no idea where you buy them as spares, but there is a real knack in fitting them.
if you look carefully in section view, they are slightly concave. make sure you fit them the right way round.Get some gorm.0 -
might have a spare, What size normal or mini ... what hapenned to yours? Try B&Q ask at the returns point for a part from any faulty units...0

You would have to see my OH's "office" see. junk yard to understand how a clip could go awol.:rolleyes:
They are about 40cm across approx.

can you not just use 1 clip per light and "borrow" from another light unit?0
