Cruise insurance for 2 years time.

MSE advice for travel insurance is to BASAYB. We have annual travel insurance which expires Jan 27. It states that it does not cover any holidays beyond the end date. We have booked 2 cruises, in Jul 27 and Feb 28. I tried to book single cruise insurance but cannot until within 12 months. I tried to book future annual insurance but cannot. I tried a specialist insurer who had no suggestions. Hence I am self insuring for the 10% deposit for both cruises, a total of around £3K, until a year before each cruise. Are there any suggestions on a way to obtain cancellation insurance earlier?

Will the cruise lines will let you reschedule without penalty? So if something happens, you can at least change the date?
