Holland & Barrett Run Club Promotion 2 and Run Club Event Ballot on Capital, May 2026 – Specific Rules

 

1. The Holland & Barrett Run Club Promotion 2 and Run Club Event Ballot (‘Promotion’) is organised by Global (as defined in the General Terms and Conditions). The Promotion will run from Thursday 7th May 2026 to Wednesday 13th May 2026 on the Capital Network. Global is the Promoter. The ‘Promotion Partner’ mentioned in these Specific Rules is Holland & Barrett and the ‘Prize Provider’ is NDL.

2. IMPORTANT: The Promotion is subject to these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions which are available here (together, the ‘Promotion Terms and Conditions’). Entry into the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these Specific Rules and the General Terms and Conditions.

3. To enter the Promotion, you must go online to the Promotion entry page which can be accessed at capitalfm.com/win, or via the Global Player app by clicking on 'Win with Capital' tile. You must register your details and submit an answer in the text-entry box, telling us what motivates you to ‘back your body this summer’ (for example, what motivates you to support your health, fitness, wellbeing or lifestyle goals) in 300 characters or less.

4. Online entry will open at 17:00 on Thursday 7th May 2026 and close at 23:59 on Wednesday 13th May 2026. Entries received before or after this time will not be included in the Promotion.

5. Entries deemed by us to be rude, offensive, defamatory, illegal or condoning dangerous behaviour, will be removed from the Promotion.

6. As part of the entry process, you will be given the option to opt-in to a separate ballot (the "Event Ballot") for a place at the Capital Run Club with Holland & Barrett event on Saturday 23rd May 2026 in London. Opting into the Event Ballot is voluntary and does not affect your entry into the main prize draw. For the Event Ballot and the Run Club terms & conditions, please see clauses 26 – 34.

7. Bulk, automated, machine assisted, third party, syndicate or other group entries are prohibited and we will disqualify any entries (and withhold or reclaim any associated prize from you) which, in our reasonable opinion, appear to have used any of these entry methods or, for example (without limitation), entries or votes that have been made from the same IP address, email address, postal address, telephone number, or similar or entries which we, at our sole discretion but acting reasonably, consider to be suspicious or fraudulent.

8. If we know or suspect you are trying to enter or have entered this Promotion by using more than one phone number or if we know or suspect you are using variations of your name, we reserve the right to disqualify any relevant entry(ies) and exclude you from this Promotion and also permanently exclude you from entering any of our Promotions.

9. By entering this Promotion, you grant the Promoter and the Promotion Partner permission to use, reproduce, and adapt your entry (including any text, lyrics, or creative content submitted) for on-air presenter live reads as part of this Promotion, and to contact you by telephone to record your voice reading your entry for broadcast on-air, and related promotional materials, without further notice or compensation.

10. Various entrants may be contacted by telephone by a producer between 09:00 and 17:00 on Thursday 14th May 2026. If agreed by the producer and the entrant, you may be contacted again between 21:00 and 23:00 on the same day to record your entry for on-air broadcast. Another call time can be arranged at the producer’s discretion. We will attempt to contact you up to three times (twice during daytime hours and once during evening hours if required). Being contacted to record your entry or having your entry featured on-air does not constitute winning the prize. If you are selected for recording and do not answer when contacted, your entry may still be featured using the written submission only.

11. Within 1 day of the closing time of the Promotion, all eligible entries will be entered into a draw. One eligible entry will be selected at random, and the winning entrant will be contacted by one of our representatives via email or telephone on the telephone number with which you registered to enter the Promotion. If such winner does not respond within 4 hours from being contacted, they will forfeit their right to the prize, and we shall be entitled to select another winner by another random draw. That subsequent winner must respond to the notification email or telephone call within 4 hours of the time at which they are notified, or they will also forfeit the prize.

12. We, the Prize Provider and the Promotion Partner may publish and publicise your name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture, your nearest geographical location (for example, your nearest city, town or county) and your entry, and we may refer to your and any applicable third party’s (for example a guest/travel companion) association with the Promotion and/or the prize, in any and all media, worldwide, in perpetuity, for publicity and PR purposes solely in connection with the Promotion; subject always to our Privacy Policy and all applicable laws.

13. In relation to winners (and runners up if applicable), you understand that we and our Promotion Partner may: (i) interview you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) which we may film, photograph and/or record and; (ii) film, photograph and/or record, you and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) in connection with the Promotion, either by telephone or in person, and we may use such films, recordings and/or photographs for publicity and PR purposes in any and all media, worldwide, as often and for as long as we consider appropriate or desirable in connection with the Promotion, unless you object to your and/or your guest’s information being published or made available. We may also publish your and your guest(s)/travel companion(s) name, image, social media handle and/or profile picture.

14. This Promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Apple.

 

Eligibility:

 

15. The Promotion is only open to residents of the UK aged 18 and over, and who are based in the UK at the time of entry.

16. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be excluded from the Promotion.

17. Only one name and telephone number may be used by you in relation to this Promotion. The use of multiple names, telephone numbers and/or devices is a breach of our Promotion Terms and Conditions and we reserve the right to disqualify your entry(ies) and you will forfeit your prize should we know or have reason to believe that you attempted to use or did use more than one name, phone number and/or device to enter this Promotion. It is also prohibited for anyone else to enter the Promotion using the same phone number including household members or friends.

18. Before transferring any winnings to you we reserve the right to request Photo ID (such as your passport or driving licence) and confirmation that the telephone number you entered on belongs to you and proof of your home address (such as a phone bill with your name, address and telephone number on). You agree and understand that should you win a cash prize you may be required to provide these to verify your eligibility. If you fail to provide the requested information and we are unable to verify your eligibility, we reserve the right to withhold any prize from you.

21. All prizes will be delivered within 28 working days from the date that the Prize Provider receives confirmation of the delivery address from the winner. The Prize Provider will do their best to adhere to these time frames, however there may be delays with stock availability and deliveries.

22. Any other costs and expenses which are not specifically included in the prize description are excluded and will be the sole responsibility of the winner.

23. The prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available.

24. We reserve the right to substitute the prize with another prize of equal or greater value at our absolute discretion.

Details of the Capital Run Club Event Ballot:

 

26. The Event Ballot is a separate entry mechanism from the main Promotion prize draw. You may be successful in the Event Ballot without winning the main prize, you may win the main prize without being successful in the Event Ballot, or you may be successful in both.

27. To enter the Event Ballot, you must complete the main Promotion entry and tick the opt-in box for the Event Ballot during the entry process. The Event Ballot will close at 23:59 on Wednesday 13th May 2026.

28. Shortly after the Event Ballot closing, successful entrants will be selected at random from all eligible Event Ballot entries and contacted via email by Friday 15th May 2026. If you do not respond within 24 hours, your Event Ballot place will be forfeited and another entrant selected.

29. Being successful in the Event Ballot entitles you to attend the Capital Run Club with Holland & Barrett event on Saturday 23rd May 2026 in London. All event information will be sent to those who have secured a place, outlining event times, registration requirements and access information.

30. Your place  at the Capital Run Club with Holland & Barrett event includes entry to the 5k run, winner goody bag and a free smoothie/juice/snack. All other costs including travel to/from the venue are your sole responsibility.

 

Capital Run Club Event:

 

31. Event capacity is limited to 40 places. You understand that entry into the Event Ballot does not guarantee you a place at the event.

32. By attending the event, you agree to abide by the ticket Terms and Conditions and to follow all event rules and instructions from event organisers on the day. We and the Promotion Partner reserve the right to refuse entry or remove you from the event if you fail to comply with event rules or behave inappropriately.

33. The event is subject to change or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control (including but not limited to adverse weather, safety concerns, or regulatory restrictions). In such circumstances, no alternative event or compensation will be provided.

34. We take the needs of guests who are disabled or have other access requirements very seriously and actively encourage people of all abilities to attend the event. If you have access requirements, you must specify such requirements and/or adjustments to the Promoter.

 

Data Protection:

 

35. Your personal data that you provide to us will be collected and processed by us, our licensees (including Communicorp UK Limited) and our Promotion Partner as well as the prize providers, and if applicable, our service providers, network operators and suppliers in order to administer and fulfil the Promotion. Your personal data may also be disclosed to Ofcom and/or the Advertising Standards Authority at their reasonable request for regulatory purposes, for example, in order to prevent, investigate and detect crime, fraud or anti-social behaviour and comply with law enforcement agencies and applicable advertising codes.

36. By entering a Promotion, any personal data provided by you in connection with the Promotion will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy, and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy. Please ensure you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and our Promotion Partner’s Privacy Policy before entering any Promotion. If you are required to submit a guest(s)/travel companion(s) personal data to enter a Promotion, you must ensure that your guest(s)/travel companion(s) have given you permission to provide us and our Promotion Partner with their personal data.

37. We, our Promotion Partner and the Prize Providers may transfer and process personal data outside of the UK and EEA for the purposes of administering the Promotion. Where this occurs, we and the Promotion Partner will ensure that such transfers are carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

38. You can exercise your data protection rights, including your right to request the erasure of your personal data by contacting privacy@global.com. If your data is erased prior to the conclusion of a Promotion, you will forfeit your right to enter the Promotion and/or claim any prize and we reserve the right to select another entrant to participate in the Promotion or withdraw the prize and select another winner, as applicable.
