Tradesmen parking permit. On hold forever!

Well almost forever. Longer than it took to do the job. Someone did answer my call after about 45 mins, then put me on hold again until someone else answered.

This was a call out to a job in a block of flats with private managed parking. So I called the number on the sign to ask for a temporary permit to carry out my job. Eventually I just left the phone on loudspeaker on the floor. The lady I spoke to put my van on their system and backdated the time as I explained to here I had been on hold for 2hrs. So hopefully I dont get a ticket now.

I've had to do this before, but my God it hasn't taken that long to get through before. Lesson learned, won't be accepting any more call outs to any place with private managed parking.

The private parking sector are parasites who on a daily basis, ruin other (proper) businesses, have - especially since POFA 2012 and the Beavis case - caused massively reduced consumer confidence in high street shopping & leisure, and they leech on land on the promise of a 'free service' and then frighten people with their protection racketeering where they only make money if people fall for their traps.
