so well within my rights to tell them not to spray there

Can you clarify which of your rights allow you to veto the type of treatment?

Is it in your contract with the management company that you are allowed to dictate which herbicides they can and cannot use?

You can ask them not to do it, but unless you've got it in writing that you have that power then they are under no obligation to abide by your request. You can send them an invoice if you like, but they'll more than likely just bin it.

Also: Don't believe everything you see in fear mongering videos on the internet, they're mostly made by people who haven't the faintest idea what they're talking about.

TBH, it is pointless engaging with management co if you do not want them to spray a area. As it will be subcontracted out.

Far better to speak to the actual people doing the job & just ask nicely if they will not do that little bit where you are working & jobs a good un.

Like round here, a lot of OAP bungalows, who do not like the 3rd party that council employ cutting the grass. The only way that works to stop them cutting their bit of grass is to ask the people doing it, who are more than happy to oblige.
