Initial Writ for Executor Dative
Hello I am new to this forum. I have recently lost my husband and am needing to apply for executor dative. I have made two attempts so far using information kindly given on this forum. I cannot see where I am going wrong. We had no children and there is only me. I wondered if anyone could put me right if I share my last attempt with them? I am applying to the Sheriffdom of Tayside and Fife at Forfar. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

I know I am repeating what a lot of people have already said but buddy9 is so full of help and advice. The advice posted over their time on the forum and indeed the time given to it all is wonderful. Thank you buddy9.

@buddy9 is indeed an exceptional resource for those trying to navigate the complexities of Scottish probate.
From what I have observed on this forum, no one else comes close to his expertise and hands on guidance.
