Afternoon all, cloudy and cool here :(. Thanks Gers, your drive sounds lovely.
We took Ldog out when we went to vote, it's at a school 10 mins walk away, then we took the long way back through the park.We got stopped a few times by people wanting to greet him :).Dh has just gone to a local bakers to pick up their Thursday special - hot beef barms. No doubt he'll get cake and a freshly baked loaf too!
Well done to DD Dp1.
Salmon for tea tonight.
Have a good day all.

@YorksLass I read lots of Patricia Cornwell books many years ago and the particular one you're talking about I remember reading. Even though the storyline was a bit gory, although most of them were, it made me laugh as my maiden name was Potter 😂

I'm back, the company and the drive were great, plus the nursery has a new cafe which was an added bonus. I bought one clematis which is now in the back garden waiting to be planted.
The other day I read an interview with Patricia Cornwell. here's the link. She had a rough childhood. Lunch is in the oven, I'm more than ready for it.

@Gers - Thanks, very interesting link.
@Chrisca - She's a 'new-to-me' author as most of my books come from our local Little Free Library making it pot luck as to what others have donated there but, on the plus side, it's enlarged my pool of authors.
Be kind to others and to yourself too.4 -
I like to visit the website stopyourekillingme.com which has a listing of mysteries by authors listed by publication date, whether they are part of a series, major character - and it has links to the author's own websites. Doesn't have every mystery book listed but it does have a majority of them. It even is has a special index by the major character is you can't remember the author.
