    my installer advised me to wait for rain to clean the panels, as I’m in a hard water area and the manufacturers advise cleaning with deionised water to avoid damaging the self-cleaning coating on the panels. We have had about 3 drops of rain since…

    As my TV arial wasn’t being used (we get our TV via the internet) we had it removed by roofers when they were doing some repair work after a storm. One less thing to worry about!
