Standalone Quad Bike Insurance for holiday

Hi there, we have travel insurance, but it does not cover us for use of a quad bike on holiday. we are not doing a guided tour on a quad bike but we are hiring them for the 2 wk holiday as a mode of transport. We can not add it to our current insurance as it does not provide cover-so i need us to have a standalone policy to cover us for using the quad bike - but i can not find an insurer that does this! Any ideas please.

I very much doubt you will find such a policy, you're better off trying to buy a full policy that doesnt exclude quads or allows you to add them by including an "adventurous activities" type optional cover. Not a recommendation but https://www.insureandgo.com/travel-insurance/activities/quad-biking/ will include use of quads with the right options selected.

And it's covering only for an experience, not daily road travel.

I would expect it to also include that you are wearing safety gear if you look at the details as well as having passed the safety checks, no idea how you do that. And of course you need the insurance to cover another vehicle/person that you might get into an accident with.

Can you find any reviews for the vehicles and could you contact any of them to see how they got covered?
