Deed poll and Debt collector

Had a lovely note come through as Debt Recovery Plus really want my money from a parking fine which is dumb as hell because I paid for my monthly ticket, 'cept APCOA's website bait-and-switched the ticket for another, but that's a problem for later.

They've got 2 addresses for me so I'm drafting a letter to have them strike the older off their records, so i need to write to them anyway, might as well get my name updated.

A touch over two weeks ago I completed my deed poll, changed my name at work and on my driving license, but they clearly never got the memo and are using my old name.

I'd rather like to let them know my name's changed but i've seen people warning of sending them signatures and there's 4 on a deed poll, 2 of mine and 2 witnesses, plus my witnesses' addresses. I don't really wish to give a debt collector that much information, so could I redact it? Or what else can I do to provide as little personal information as possible while still effectively proving a name change?

Ignore DRP (they have no powers other than sending out junkmail threatograms), but you may wish to email APCOA.

It would just be to cover yourself. There is no specific evidence required and it would be up to APCOA to believe or not.

Anybody has until proceedings are initiated to name a different driver and no evidence is required for that.

APCOA don't do court anyway, so I wouldn't lose any sleep.

Yes you can redact witness addresses.

Why not just email the name & address changes (rectification notice) to DRP using their DPO email address, using the paragraphs from the recommended LBC reply in post 2 of the NEWBIES thread?

Also email to APCOA's own DPO.

That para about erasing an old address is pre-written for you.

Yeah ok that makes sense, i'll draw that up and send it over to both entities sans evidence and they can do with it what they will, the address bit is the most important anyway and it's not like i need evidence for that.

Not super pressed about this, if they do go for it i'm ready, if they don't then that's fine too lol, already have a noreply@ service so they won't be getting a harassment vector from an email either.
